Chromosomes are marked by the stable expression of the core histone
2b tagged with Enhanced Green Fluorescent Protein (EGFP-H2b, in
green). Transmitted light (grey) is used to follow the shape of
the cell. The fluorescence labeling of chromatin and 4D imaging
of the same live cell over the entire mitosis allows quantitations
of the structural dynamics of chromosomes. Fluorescence channel
is a maximum intensity projection of 18 confocal sections. Frame
