"Cinema of the Cell " was initiated in september 2001 during the first ELSO meeting in Geneva. Invited speakers showed audiovisual documents about cells in front of a 1000 participants. In June 2002 in Nice during ELSO/SBCF meeting 12 BioClips were presented. A selection of the best Bioclips were projected during ELSO 2003 in Dresden and ELSO/SBCF 2004 in Nice and again at ELSO 2005 and 2007 in Dresden. Prizes attributed by the public designated the most popular BioClips.
